§ 01 · What you get

Six things that make an authority site different.

A ”5-page brochure site” isn’t an authority site — and Google knows. Authority sites have specific shape, structure, and depth. Here’s what we ship.

01 — Topical authority

100–200+ pages on a single brand framework.

Pillar pages, supporting pages, FAQ clusters, neighborhood pages, industry pages — all interlinked, all targeting one cohesive topical universe. Google’s algorithm rewards this shape. Five-page brochure sites fight uphill forever.

02 — Designed-in SEO

URL structure, schema, internal linking — from day zero.

Most agencies bolt SEO on after launch. We design URL hierarchy, schema markup (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ, HowTo where applicable), and internal-linking patterns before the first wireframe. Costs 3× less to do it once, ranks twice as well.

03 — Conversion mechanics

Every page has a path to revenue.

Click-to-call sticky on mobile. Multi-step lead form with progress indicator. Industry-specific CTAs. GA4 events on every interaction. We instrument first, optimize second.

04 — Core Web Vitals from day one

LCP under 2.5s. CLS under 0.1. INP under 200ms.

Google’s ”Good” thresholds, cleared on every page before launch. Custom theme means no page-builder bloat. WebP imagery, self-hosted fonts, deferred JS. Not aspirational — required.

05 — Brand consistency

Custom theme, not a template you’ve seen before.

Your Authority Site doesn’t look like the Wix template four other businesses in your category bought. Custom design system, custom blocks, custom imagery (AI-generated in your brand style or your photos). Defensible margin, not vanity.

06 — Prioritized launch + 30-day review

Submit to GSC on day 14. Review actuals at day 44.

Day 14: sitemap submitted, GA4 instrumented, GSC connected. Day 44: 30-day post-launch review with the actual analytics — what’s ranking, what’s not, what to adjust. Vanity metrics don’t show up in this report.

§ 02 · Why $3,000

$500 Wix site vs. our $3,000 vs. $30K agency.

Three places Tampa SMBs typically end up when they need a website. Compare the rows; pick what matters for your business.

§ 03 · What you get

What ships in 14 days. The whole list.

Every line below is in the base $3,000 engagement. No ”starts at,“ no add-on theater. Some clients add Programmatic SEO ($1,500) for additional long-tail capture or Brand Sprint ($1,500) if they’re starting from no brand at all — but most don’t need either.

Every Authority Site ships with

  • Custom WordPress theme · Built on FSE, not a template
  • 100–200+ pages · Pillar, supporting, FAQ clusters, neighborhood
  • 60-keyword content thesis · Drawn from your top 3 competitors
  • AI imagery in your brand style · Or your photos, if you have them
  • Local Tampa SEO · GBP alignment, schema, neighborhood content
  • Core Web Vitals ”Good” · LCP, CLS, INP cleared on every page
  • GA4 + GSC + sitemap · Instrumented and submitted day 14
  • Mobile-first conversion · Sticky CTA, click-to-call, multi-step form
  • WCAG 2.1 AA baseline · Standard practice, not an upcharge

Plus the things most agencies skip

  • Strategy doc you keep · Even if we never build together
  • 30-day post-launch review · Real analytics, not vanity metrics
  • Full source-file handoff · Theme, copy, access, source control
  • Care Plan optional · $200–$800/mo, month-to-month if you want it
  • Audit credit applied · If you came from a $500 audit
  • WooCommerce optional · Single product or small catalog at no extra
  • Senior eyes on every page · No outsourced production line
  • One direct line · No account-manager handoff
  • Honest scope conversations · We’ll say no if you don’t need it

Every Authority Site is built specifically for your business. The framework is repeated; the content, design, and SEO architecture are not.

§ 04 · Real outcomes (modeled)

What Authority Sites typically produce.

We’re a new studio, so we lead with composite findings drawn from the methodology — not specific past clients. As we ship real Tampa engagements, this section gets replaced with verified case studies.

Outcome 01
Surface area

Page count goes from 8 to 142 in two weeks.

A typical Tampa SMB site has 8 indexable pages. We ship 142 (100 pillar + supporting + 42 neighborhood and FAQ). Google has 17.75× more surface to index, evaluate, and rank — before any other lever moves.
Avg. result by month 6: 3× organic trafficMechanism: Volume × structure × intent
Outcome 02
Conversion path

Form conversion rate doubles by adding three CTAs.

Old site: one buried ”contact us” form on a single page. New site: sticky mobile CTA, click-to-call header, multi-step audit form, dedicated landing pages. Same traffic, double the form fills.
Avg. lift: 2× form-fill ratePages instrumented: Every page, every CTA
Outcome 03
Performance debt

LCP drops from 5.8s to 1.4s by ditching three page builders.

Typical Tampa site we audit has Elementor + WP Bakery + Yoast + 8 unused plugins. Custom theme means we ship the markup we need and nothing else. 3.2 MB hero image becomes 180 KB WebP.
Typical LCP improvement: ~70% fasterPlugins active at launch: 8–12 (vs. 25+ typical)
Outcome 04
Local visibility

Tampa map pack appearances start within 6 weeks.

Designed-in local schema (LocalBusiness + Service + Place) + GBP-aligned NAP + neighborhood content silos. By week six, Google has enough signal to start surfacing the site in Tampa map-pack results — especially in long-tail ”service + neighborhood” queries where it’s easier to rank.
Typical timeline: 4–8 weeks to map packCoverage: Tampa + 4–6 surrounding cities
§ 05 · How we work

Senior humans, AI for production, no outsourcing.

AI accelerates production; senior judgment drives strategy. We don’t outsource page builds, we don’t farm out content, and we don’t pretend any of this is fully automated.

Tools we use (the boring side)

  • WordPress + custom theme · No Elementor, no Divi, no page builders
  • Ahrefs / SEMrush · Competitor footprint + keyword universe
  • Google Search Console · Index coverage, performance baseline
  • Lighthouse + PageSpeed Insights · CWV verification per page type
  • Schema.org validator · Structured data sanity check
  • Claude / GPT (with senior editing) · Content production, never content strategy

What we do by hand

  • Strategy + topical thesis · Competitor reading + intent mapping
  • Brand decisions · Voice, palette, typography — never AI-generated wholesale
  • Every page edited by a senior · No ”automated” final copy ever ships
  • Schema markup designed per business type · Not a generic template
  • Conversion mechanics chosen per industry · CTAs that fit your buyer
  • QA + a11y audit · Manual review before every launch
§ 06 · The 14-day timeline

Four phases. 14 calendar days.

You always know what’s happening, what’s next, and what it costs. Sign-off at each phase boundary. No ”big reveal” on day 14 — you’ve seen the site grow daily.

Days 0–2

Audit + strategy

Site/competitor audit, topical thesis (60 keywords), buyer journey map, written strategy doc. You sign off.

Days 2–4

Sitemap, internal-link graph, URL structure, schema strategy, design system. Wireframes for pillar pages. You sign off.

Days 4–11

Content + design

Theme built, pages drafted with senior editing, AI imagery in your style, conversion mechanics installed. Daily staging URL.

Days 11–14

Ship + handoff

QA, a11y audit, CWV pass, sitemap submission to GSC, full source-file handoff. 30-day review scheduled.

§ 07 · What happens next

After launch: three honest paths.

Day 14 is the launch. Day 44 is the 30-day review. What you do between those two depends on how involved you want us to be — three common options.

Path 01 — Hand-off

Take it from here.

Your team or developer runs the site from day 14. You own everything. We answer one-off questions for 30 days (included). After that, ad-hoc engagements at the standard hourly rate if you need us.

Best for: Owners with internal dev or marketing capacity. No further cost after the build.
Path 02 — Care Plan

Keep us on for maintenance + monthly call.

Updates, backups, security, performance monitoring, small content edits, monthly call where we look at GA4 + GSC together. Three tiers ($200/$400/$800/mo) depending on scope. Month-to-month, cancel anytime.

Best for: Owners who want one accountable team. ~85% of Authority Site clients pick this.
Path 03 — Extend the build

Add Programmatic SEO or Multi-Metro.

If month-3 data shows real traction, we add the next layer: Programmatic SEO ($1,500, 7-day add-on) for long-tail volume, or Multi-Metro Expansion ($1,500/metro) to replicate the playbook in another market. Same fixed-price model.

Best for: Clients who validated the model and want to scale. Modular, not upsold.
§ 08 · Pricing

$3,000 fixed. One price.

Same price for every standard Authority Site. We don’t make you book a call to find your number. Add-ons are individually priced and entirely optional.

§ 09 · Questions

Eight questions before you commit.

The objections we hear most. Honest answers — same ones we’d give on a call.

How is 14 days actually possible?

Two reasons. First: we don’t reinvent the wheel. We have a battle-tested authority-site framework — what changes per client is brand, topical thesis, and content, not the underlying architecture. Custom WordPress theme means we don’t fight a page builder.

Second: AI handles production speed (drafting page copy, generating brand-styled imagery, scaffolding schema). Senior editors review every page before it ships. That’s how 12 weeks becomes 14 days without sacrificing quality.

Trade-off: we don’t build experimental brand systems from scratch on a $3K engagement. That’s the Brand Sprint product ($1,500, 5 days, separate). If you need brand work first, do Brand Sprint then Authority Site — total $4,500, 19 days.

What kinds of pages are in the 100–200?

Pillar pages (5–10): your core service categories. Long-form, comprehensive, designed to rank for head terms.

Supporting pages (30–60): each service broken into sub-topics, processes, and FAQs. Designed to capture long-tail and middle-funnel traffic.

Neighborhood pages (20–40): “[service] in [Tampa neighborhood]” for 6–12 priority neighborhoods. Designed for local pack visibility.

Industry pages (10–20, where relevant): “[service] for [industry]” — if you serve dentists and law firms, both get their own conversion-focused landing pages.

FAQ clusters (15–30): consolidated FAQ pages by topic. Easy long-tail wins, plus FAQ schema for SERP rich-result eligibility.

When will I see first-page rankings?

What we design for: top-3 organic for your head term inside 60 days, top-5 for 10+ neighborhood terms inside 90 days, organic traffic crossing paid by month four. These are targets, not guarantees — Google’s algorithm doesn’t accept performance bonds.

What’s realistic: technical SEO + on-page wins happen in 2–4 weeks (re-crawl + rank shift). Local pack appearances start in 4–8 weeks. Long-tail dominance builds over 60–90 days. If we miss targets at the 30-day review, we work the variance — free 30-day diagnostic, identify the gap, fix on a fixed-price re-engagement if needed.

Is the content AI-generated?

Production-accelerated, senior-edited. We use AI (Claude or GPT-4 class) to draft initial page copy from a brief you sign off on. Every page is then reviewed and rewritten by a senior editor — not ”spell-checked,“ actually rewritten.

Google has been clear: AI content is fine if it’s useful, accurate, and authoritative. AI slop is not fine. The difference is human judgment — and that’s what we provide. We don’t ship pages that read like Wikipedia, and we don’t ship pages we wouldn’t be proud to put our name on.

If you’d rather we write entirely by hand (no AI assist), tell us — we can. Price stays the same; timeline shifts to ~21 days.

What do I need to provide?

Required: your business basics (services, locations, current site or domain), top 3 competitor URLs (or we’ll find them), and one strategy-doc review on day 2.

Helpful but not required: your existing brand guide, your photos (we’ll generate AI imagery in your style if you don’t), your existing analytics access (GA4, GSC, current ranking data).

Time commitment from you: ~3–5 hours total over 14 days. Strategy doc review (1hr), architecture sign-off (1hr), 2 staging-URL reviews (~1hr each), launch sign-off (30min). We do the work; you make decisions.

Why WordPress vs. Webflow / Framer / something newer?

Three reasons. One: WordPress is platform-agnostic — you can leave us and take the site to any competent developer tomorrow. Webflow and Framer have proprietary editors and platform-fee lock-in.

Two: WordPress is mature for local SEO — every plugin, every schema generator, every analytics integration works first-class. Newer platforms are catching up but aren’t there yet.

Three: Cost. Hosting WordPress at scale is ~$15–40/mo. Webflow’s $40+/mo per-site cost adds up across multi-metro deployments.

Trade-off: WordPress has plugin-bloat risk if mismanaged. Custom theme + Care Plan addresses this.

Who owns everything when we’re done?

You. Site files, custom theme source, all copy, all imagery, WordPress admin, Google Search Console, GA4 property, hosting account (if we set it up), domain registrar — all transferred to your accounts on day 14.

If you ever leave us, you walk away with everything intact. No proprietary builders, no platform lock, no ”we’ll send your files for an additional fee.“ If you can’t take this site to another developer tomorrow, we built it wrong.

Is my business a good fit?

Good fit: Tampa Bay service business or B2B company between $1M and $20M revenue. Home services, healthcare, legal, professional services, restaurants, B2B/SaaS, specialty retail. WordPress as your platform (not Shopify).

Probably not a fit: Sub-$1M businesses (cost-prohibitive), $20M+ enterprises (wrong scope), pure Shopify ecommerce (referred to Shopify specialists), out-of-state-only businesses with no Tampa anchor.

We’ll tell you in the first audit or call if you’re not a fit. We’d rather lose the project than oversell.

An Authority Site is a 14-day, fixed-price bet on whether a real site — built with real strategy — can move real revenue for a Tampa business.
